Can’t help I’m afraid but mind me asking what problems you’ve had with the hy/rds? I’ve been thinking of going in the other direction and swapping spyres for hy/rds

Think early hy/rds were recalled; i had a set replaced under warranty when stopping power dropped off a cliff without warning. Replacements worked well for short period I used them before I sold the bike so can't really comment

Quite possibly my mechanic skills but they have always felt under powered. Sticky pistons, I re-bled the front, cleaned and oiled the pistons and they are still not great.
I had spyres for a short while and they are fine, but the main thing is simplicity of repairing on the road vs inconsistent oil based system.

Thanks for this. Yeah I hear you about the simplicity of Spyres. Even if I do give hy/rds a try I'll keep the spyres for longer trips etc for exactly that reason. Good luck with the search!

Anyone got a single Spyre post mount calliper now OP is sorted?
Looking to replace the HyRds on my partners bike with Spyres. Had quite a few problems with the HyRds and also want something that is easier to fix on the road. I can collect in London or postage please. I'm based east.
Let me know what you have. Thanks
