FS: Omnium Cargo (L) Full Build *PRICE DROP*

Posted on
  • Moving abroad and sadly having to pack quite light so selling my Omnium Cargo. Purchased on here about 18 months ago and hasn’t seen nearly enough use as it should have. Specs are as follows:

    • Large cargo frame (Rose Gold)
    • Hope dual-pot brakes front and rear. (Tech 3 v4)
    • Hope floating rotors black.
    • Hope pro 4/ryde dutch19 rear wheel
    • Halo sealed hub/halo sub 4 front wheel
    • SRAM force carbon cranks
    • Zee 10 speed derailleur and shifter.
    • Fizik seatpost + saddle + stem
    • Marathon Plus tyres
    • Omnium webbing + kick stand + extender bar.
    • Frame Lock
    • Hexlox security bolts
    • Underframe Bag

Few paint scuffs which I’ve tried to show but nothing more than superficial. Stored indoors. I’m 5’10 on the best of days and the frame fits fine, could even accommodate a shorter rider with a shorter stem etc. Haven't got time to split it between work + moving so offers for full build only please.

Collection from SE5 (or can be delivered within a reasonable distance). PayPal/Bank Transfer only please.

£1600 O.N.O please arrange sale by 29/05 (otherwise it'll be on ebay)

  • Nice, good price.

Is that frame bag for sale too? if so potential dibs pending price etc

  • Absolutely, sorry - should’ve mentioned it in the listing. There’s a pair of fenders as well not shown in the pics

  • Bump, would also be open to taking a Clydesdale (or equivalent Cargo Fork) as part exchange for a couple hundred quid off the asking price

  • This is so tempting, but no idea how I’d get it out of London… assume it’d need a van to move it as they won’t take it on a train?

  • Depends which train, no one will tell you anything on a thameslink type one, off peak

  • Depends which train, no one will tell you anything on a thameslink type one, off peak

I reckon you can get away with it on a lot of trains, off peak. defo on Thameslink, you can stand it up and it doesn't take much more space than a standing person.

Or do a tour and ride it home ...

  • Also good towards camdridge, or essex on the east anglian, but the Home Counties are a problem, as with anything :)

  • How far out of London do you need to get it? If you're flexible with days I could conceivably bring it to you for the cost of the fare - have taken it on Thameslink before and know of someone doing something similar on Southwestern during super-off peak hours

  • @Glws @lazysuperhero

The high speed great western trains :( or possibly the Elizabeth line…

Thanks for the offer Moof, but it’d be a fair trek and wouldn’t want to inconvenience you overly as you sort out the move. will have a look at what GWR say in more detail. May be able to take a circuitous route on stopper trains.

  • No worries, I've taken bikes on GWR before but they have a rather finicky booking system for it (although these were on the new long distance Bristol trains and **might be better for shorter/more localised routes) - getting to the end of the Elizabeth line wouldn't be as much of a faff for me

  • PRICE DROP:
£1600 O.N.O if you collect by the end of the weekend - it's going on ebay on Monday if not

  • Now sold, thanks for delivering @Moof, and it just about fits on the train!
