Okay so brakes are gonna be silver or potentially gun metal if XTR. No black parts on this build.
Those VO brakes are the ugliest cantilever brakes I have ever seen.
9 speed road and MTB parts work together natively. Cable pull was the same afaik. Either way, I have it on good authority that these work tremendously together.
