• Yeah, it was also supposedly a limited release and they've struggled to sell them everywhere. They were discounted a while ago in the U.S. from 1750 to about 1250. Still can't shift them. When you put it up against something from the likes of Sinn or Oris at the same price, they don't look very appealing at all.

  • Anything i should know about a Squale Pepsi ceramica gmt? I'm on a stock notification from Gnomon and should be back in 3-4 weeks

  • Na. They use proper movements and know how to build a watch. Both Squale's I've had were great. And they pass the @Regal test!

As far as I understand, Fossil started building movements under the STP brand in 2008, so they've been around for a while. Most of the Zodiac watches use STP movements - they are owned by Fossil after all. However, for their GMT/World Time watches, they've used Soprod movements which haven't been tested as much and seemingly just aren't as reliable.

I mean, it really perturbs me that Zodiac's website just lists 'Movement: Automatic' on the spec listings for watches. I think its so disingenuous. The brand is aimed at watch enthusiasts...

  • It's in stock now, for me anyway.
