I'm riding a hire bike with Wolfpack Race tyres on them and they are so nice I'm going to see if the rental place will sell me some. Don't seem to have UK sales but trying to search anything from Spain is near useless
Max Huerzeler are so big they have their own custom branded Cube bikes and tyres with their logos on them.

I use to be a big fan of the original Rubino Pro for my clubruns / training tyres.
I actually got given a set of these newer ones in 23 or 25mm on some wheels but I don't run that skinny on anything but the TT bike so I took them to Poland and put them on the 'cross bike for road use. No idea of performance, pinch flatted on a fucking stupid piece of road/path design but other than that they were fine.

I'd seen that article before and I know Wolfgang turned Spesh tyres from dogshit to ace from personal experience, but these really roll nice. Might be lack of a breaker strip and Mallorca tarmac fucking with me.

Ever ordered from these guys before? Other than Google Shopping I've never heard of them.

Never heard of them.
WHUT. I thought you were into your tyres?

I seems like it but I don't go out of my way looking for new stuff. I tend to wait until someone else has used something and if it works for them and I think it's better for a race or something I'll try it out.
I do sometimes just buy random shit but it's not like I'm subscribed to "700C Fetish" or whatever.

Also, I've been using the same stuff in 700C for so long and now everything is fucking tubeless so there's not much out there of interest (and I bought so many tyres it seemed for a while I'd never run out).

Anyone tried Schwalbe Pro one tube type? https://www.merlincycles.com/schwalbe-pro-one-addix-v-guard-folding-road-tyre-700c-174255.html

I have an older version of that (don't think they were addix). Rolled great, grippy as anything but too fragile for the commute. 3 punctures in about 3-400 miles was too much for me. Not sure if the newer version is better protected.

It’ll be like the rose wine you drink at night. Beautiful over there, Lack of sunshine and vibes here will ruin them.

Even better: https://www.merlincycles.com/vittoria-rubino-pro-g20-folding-road-tyres-with-2-free-inner-tubes-pair-262320.html
Edit: not tubeless though.

Are these any good?

I’ll mainly be on crush/broken road (ncn1)Or these?
If you can get 2.2 knobbly tyres in a Midnight Special surely they’d fit??

Never used them but if it is the MW bit then I would think they would be fine. I used 28c Duranos when I did it recently without no issues.

Tubeless 47mm on 19mm internal or nah? WTB chart says it ok, but I dunno...
-
• #9145
Yep, proceed.
-
• #9146
People ran 2.5"+ on 17mm internal on MTBs for years. It'll be fine.

Yeah it’s that sort of terrain. Just after a bit more cush’. I did Norwich to whittwell(?) and back (30miles) yesterday lunchtime for an ice cream on the Kish. On 25mm Rubino pros and it was a little bit solid. Down station lane was dodgy as hell!!
I have been running these in 28mm tubeless for a while, seem pretty good - a bit slower than the corsas they replaced but not by that much tbh.
