I'm afraid I have no idea - just did some googling.
This tiny image
from here https://www.sram.com/en/service/articles/zipp-hub-timeline looks like a black 188v7 and the image file is titled 188v7-cut-away-black-sm-26.jpg so I assume they came in black and silver

Interesting. I emailed sigma and they said I could use the 11spd upgrade hub for 188
@fredtc I thought the v7 were silver only? These are black which would indicate V8 no?
