fell off my bike yesterday as my lovely arcteryx trousers got caught in my chain - slow speed and the only damage done was to my ego
Alas, riding the bike some time around london to pick up stuff was nice, i absalutely hate that 2 speed hub tho, it seems to click into gear every time you coast, so every time you start pedalling you get a different ratio unless you really focus on it.
sure it's fun, and can be useful, having a direct drive gear and an overdrive gear means you don't get caught out on a hill or a flat, but i think personally i would prefer a single ratio between the two of them than this and just make do.
don't really want to spend money on a new wheelset - so likely i will grin a bare it - or just get stronger legs.
i'd also like some taller bars - really get upright chiller for city riding, hate looking at the ground when i cycle, the comfort from that might make everything else more barable tbqh. - so maybe i'll start there - find a cheap set of bmx bars
