That’s almost better for Tory in fighting, life isn’t going to get any better for people regardless of which Tory is in charge.
The Privileges committee investigation is going to be interesting. If it was just going to be a stitch up the Tory’s would have just voted it down. There’s a very good chance he’ll be found guilty of lying. They’ll have to give him a suspension which could trigger a recall petition and they only need 10% of constituents to sign and he’s no longer an mp and has to fight a by-election. That would be hilarious.
Guardian estimate that there are at least 50 of the 54 required letters of no confidence. Not sure how valid that is
