I don’t know yet Re luggage. Should’ve ordered Fairweather stuff from Blue Lug and regret not doing so. Probably Outer Shell. They have it at the Cub House which is down the street and they give me a small discount.

Ordered some stuff from Velo Orange last Wednesday. Hasn’t turned up yet. Ordered Crust and wheels on Saturday, supposed to turn up today. Ordered this stuff on Monday and it beat everything else. From Tokyo. Blue Lug ♥️ DHL ♥️

Fantastic!
VO wheels? -
• #57
No. Crust. Really impressed by the build quality. And the rims that are exclusive to them that they are not yet selling individually but may do some day. Rims are 395g +/- 5% each. Really impressive. The rear hub is maybe not my vibe as its really loud but hey ho. I'll get over it. Front wheel is built with an SV-8. Spokes are butted DT Swiss. For $525 they can't be beaten though - genuinely. Closest I could get with an online wheelbuilder was $650 using Pacenti Brevet's and a Bitex rear hub.

Cool, I have Brevets being delivered today, wish there was more choice of niche rims, or at least more actually available in brexitland.

sexy frame. the wheelset looks really good. does anyone know, what rims are those. can't believe they are the only ones selling those. the velo orange are heavy, even the 26" version.

Yes!!

Matt (crust) designed, probably made by kinlin or somebody similar.

De-stickered Mavic Open Pro
-
• #63
Yeah, they are supposedly the designers and only people selling them. The disc rim version is even lighter at 360 grams.
-
• #64
Yeah, niche within a niche within a niche though. Surprised there are any options!
-

Interesting if they are truly the only party selling the rims, I would have thought they'd need to sell loads of them to offset the cost of tooling for manufacture.
Wheels do look nice!

going to be a lovely bike!

Off setting costs doesn't seem to be their bag, see towel rack bars.
-
• #68
Have also heard they make basically no money on Romanceur’s either.
-

Only other rims I can think of that are box section and 650b are Brevet’s and they’re definitely not those…
-

Available as rims only at crust, $105 each.

So they are. Uploaded at some point in the last 24 hours according to their Instagram. Didn’t see that. Decent price on something this niche IMO. Interested to see how they ride.

Let me know how they go, I may order a couple of pairs and get em shipped over, just for the stock cupboard.
Could you measure the tyres once you've fitted em, interested to see what they come out at on a 23mm internal rim? -

Lol, if he shaved it does look like him eh.
Pasadena. Big difference - legitimately.
Also, mood board? Who do you think I am? @Maj ?!
