I am going to put some marathon tyres back on but they are not as reliable long term and don't protect from tacks or screws.
Are you regularly riding through building sites or something? I ran Marathons Plus for ages on the fixed and must've hit one thing (a nail) in years that actually went through those tyres. They were squared off but still rolling by the time I decided to move on to something a bit less "tractor"
I would call them destruction sites, but large parts in North Greenwich are building sites. There is just always some shit on the paths on top of the regular coverage of broken glass.
