Okay. A lot of random stuff for sale and I will update with links to HUMUNGOUS pictures in Dropbox, as I go.
So. Clearing out what I will never use plus the stupid eBay purchases that seemed like a good idea at the time. I am frankly baffled why I even have some of it. Obviously, the years 2016-2018 were pretty intense from a personal pov.
Items are located in London N19 which is closer to the centre of town than you think it is. Honestly. Also, isn't the journey the reward, mmm? Halfway between Finsbury Park (Victoria/Piccadilly) and Archway (Northern) and close to the Overground at Upper Holloway.
1] Shimano WH-RS-550-TL wheelset - £200 + postage
Basically an unused, tubeless-ready, rim brake 'Ultegra spec' wheelset*. I want to say 'new' but these have been carted around by me for a few years waiting for an opportunity to use them and have acquired a few blems (see pics linked) and one sticker is lifting (I was going to desticker them anyway, made no odds to me). As I picked up a 32h wheelset based on the equivalent Ultegra 6800 hubset recently, the chances of me using these is approaching nil.
Spec is here: Pic 1Pic 2Pic 3Pic 4Pic 5Pic 6Pic 7
They will be wrapped and boxed and shipped at whatever the cost is. Or you can pick them up.
*No skewers, unless I can locate them :/
Narrow-wide chainrings - £10 each + postage Pic
2] Top: Used Blackspire 42T 104BCD
3] L: NEW Superstar Raptor 38T 110 BCD Asymmetric
4] R: NEW Superstar Raptor 36T 110 BCD
Road chainrings - £5 each + postage Pic
7] Top: NEW Shimano 105-series 10 speed 53T 130 BCD
8] Top: NEW Shimano 105-series 10 speed 39T 130 BCD
9] Bottom Used CNC'd 36T 110 BCD
10] USE blue anodised seatpost - £10 + postage Pic
WYSIWYG: I thought it was 25.4mm but I don't have calipers and it seems to be more like 24.8. I haven't used this so am moving it on. Get it as a conversation piece, the blue rilly pops y'know?
Road tyres. Pic
11] Continental GP4000s 28c - plenty of life but obvious wear and a few cuts - £5 pair + postage
12] Michelin Lithion.2 YELLOW 23c - lots of life - FREE with anything else
13] Bontrager All Weather Plus 23c - lots of life - FREE with anything else
14] Ritchey 130mm 25.4 clamp road stem - £5 + postage Pic
I took the anodising off this and then failed to follow through with a thorough polish because life is too short. Pretty light for the amount of stem real-estate you get here.
Riser bar and Grips Pic 1Pic 2
15] Decathlon carbon mid riser bar of approx 660mm width 31.8mm clampitude - £5
...and I ain't posting that. No way José, (unless I am).
16] Raceface grips with no end plugs - £5 + postage
Grubby, but will clean up and the green is almost dayglo. Almost. Like green urethane skate wheels.
17] Schwalbe CX Pro 30-622 wire bead cross tyres + suitable inner tubes - £10 a set
One set of these has almost no mileage on them. The other has a couple of rides (maybe 100 miles tops). Buy and pretend you cross cycle professionally. It's on the tyres. Read the tyres. They do not lie. Pic 1Pic 2Pic 3
18] Profile Design Airwing bullhorn 400mm 25.4 clamp WITH Tektro carbon levers - £15 + postage
Also includes incredibly shitty tape job, gratis. You're welcome.
Pics to follow.
19] Te'mani carbon bullhorns 460mm 31.8 clamp. Cable routing - £15 + postage
It's simply not true that 'Te'mani' is a trademark owned by the World Dental Federation's Pension Fund.
Pics to follow.
20] SMP Hell/Well - £25 + postage
I realised that the narrower unpadded SMP shape works best for me.
Note small notch at the nose in Pic 4. Otherwise in fair condition considering its age and NINETY FIVE METRIC KILOGRAMS OF SOLID ASS it's had to carry. Pic 1Pic 2Pic 3Pic 4
21] Thomson X2 130mm +/-17° 31.8 - £35 + postage
Grubby bag included.
Pics to follow.
22] Panaracer Cinder Cone 57-559 aka 2.25" tire (one) - £5 + postage
Pleasingly chunky like a Yorkie bar. A couple of tree's worth of rubber in this. Pic
24] Shimano XTR RD-M952 rear derailleur - £5 for parts only + postage Pic
Bought it off here and it turned out to have a cracked cage. Oh well. The rest of it looks healthy and could have many more years of purposeful life ahead of it.
25] Mavic Open Pro 32 spokes on Shimano 105 (5501) front hub - FREE with anything else.
Has some dings, is notchy but looks like it would have many more years of mid-range plodding in it.
Pic to follow.
26] Mavic Open Pro 32 spokes on Shimano Dura Ace (7700) front hub - £10
It's for the hub really, which is smooth. The rim has life but uneven wear and a little ding. It seems to be true enough to ride though? What's the matter with you? Stop arguing with me here!
