  • Come on Brentford

  • Wow fair play to city. Again KDB stepping up

  • Liverpool have scored. Need villa not to score.

  • Frank Lampard’s Everton are doing well

  • Just need it all to stay as it is, bar a Burnley goal. And I'll be happy.

  • I want Liverpool to get it purely cos this Man City fan at the pub is annoying me.

  • Burnley in worse than Leeds relegation shocker.

  • goal leeds lovely stuff

  • For the sake of fuck.

  • ooofff
    so closeish
we got the job done in the end

damn you villa y u do that

  • Nice to see Burnley go down.

Incredible turn around from City, especially after they bottled the champions League.

  • and fair play to citeh
    won like champions today

  • Frank Lampard’s Everton are doing well

That’s your takeaway from this epic final day?

  • Mad final day, City looking like absolute bedwetters until they suddenly turned on the championship style. Leeds pulling it out the bag and Burnley’s big gamble ultimately falling flat. Did not see that coming.

  • Aye, a good season overall

  • Not in the slightest but thought it was a notable result that could get lost in all the other back and forth

  • Did not see Leeds pulling that off against Brentford. Shock of the day.

  • I didn’t expect anything different. Dropped our three best players, played a few “won’t be seen in the shirt again” players and would be disappointed if the rest weren’t a bit hungover.

  • Spurs were 9th when Conte took over. Remind my why United didnt hire him?

  • Would have been a sensible footballing decision. That’s not their brand.

  • So much schadenfreude in this thread in the last couple of hours.

  • City deserved to win it to be honest.

  • Burnley though - come on, don't let Leeds of the hook as well as Everton.

Got ourselves off that hook, thank you very much.

  • Maybe I should have said which serious manager would consider it?

  • Balls. Just too much for us this season. Started badly, picked up but then just ran out of players.

An exhausting match. No reception meant no one knew what was going on in the other match, Newcastle took it surprisingly seriously and we just got desperate.
