Sorry, brake comment wasn’t aimed at what you were saying. Hate to rain on your parade but I don’t believe in wide drop bars, so that definitely won’t be happening.
If going 9sp, it has to be double really. If for some reason I decide on single ring, it’d have to be 10 or 11sp which I’m not that keen on. An M952 rear derailleur is just so sick.

I have a rather big birthday coming up next year, (if I can get my shit together, which is unlikely) I was thinking of getting on a plane with a bike and seeing a bit of California, would be cool to go for a ride with someone who knows the area, if you're still out there, and are up for being a guide.
