Due to funemployment progress on the SRAD slowed down but determined to have it ready for summer. Started a new job a few weeks ago so progress should speed up again. Wheels will be getting powder coated and new Bridgestone S22 tyres fitted. Really wanted it ready for the spring, but plan on keeping it for a long time so want to do things properly.
The CRF on the other hand has seen action every weekend pretty much and taken me to places I never knew existed. The brown muddy lanes I was riding through the winter have turned to a lush green and are getting busier. There's a few small mods I'd like to do, but nothing major now I've got knobbly tyres. Have thoroughly enjoyed learning a new discipline of riding that's totally different from 'road work'.
Thanks. Not yet, think I'll attempt to remove the 20yr old Michelins myself then ring him when it comes to fitting tyres on the freshly powder coated rims.
