Less popular than the 124 spider. Very pretty and always wanted one as it looks like the Fiat 850 coupe larger brother

Amazing. Seriously, if we're happy to build and drive giant wasteful SUVs why can't we have land yachts back?

Lol - barber shop. Presumably you can only buy if you have a sculpted hipster-beard.

I think that is a Delta 88 from the early 70s. My first car was an Olds, same model in a very similar size and colour and not much older ('77).
6.8 litre/400ci V8. Not cheap to run and fill - 20 gallon or 80 litre tank.

I'm partial to a V8 wagon, but this concerns me:
The seller notes that the gearbox can be intermittently ‘notchy’ on down changes, the air conditioning does not work, the fuel gauge can ‘stick’ on empty if less than 20 litres is added from very low fuel, and the rear passenger central locking actuator can be temperamental. However, there are no other known electrical or mechanical faults.

Yep, agreed. No doubt it'll still go for silly money though.

I do like the look of this, but the bids are climbing.

I've seen an increasing number of claims on twitter and car forums that there's shill bidding going on at collecting cars... absolutely no real evidence but found it interesting given the over inflated prices that stuff tends to sell for on the platform.

My dad is looking to sell his so will be keeping an eye and hoping the bids keep climbing!

I don't want to sound like a vulture capitalist, but I think we're heading for a bitter recession, which will knock the legs out from under the current prices.

Thought that was owned by Merc in their museum.
That was my issue , luckily the ferry was cheap , and I didn’t think I could even scrap an English car without a carte grise .
It must be possible though as cars must have accidents over there and not go back over .
The other option was a trailer
