I can’t speak for how he speaks off camera but I can’t say I’d ever make a joke about fudge packing as I know what people usually mean to insinuate. He made a clumsy double entendre that would have worked fine in Viz in the 90s. Doesn’t work fine in 2022.
Maybe there’s an age thing here but I’m 47 and it was a common enough school insult when I was a kid.
