A friend of ours works in wolf conservation. If you ever want to wind her up and set her off, you just have to mention that photo and the thousands of different ways that people wrongly apply theories to it. You can see the vein bulge on her forehead!

Not sure how I feel about making fun of a woman who has gone to court due to domestic abuse

In school, they put up a photo of one of the guys taking a shit on a school trip. They burst in while he was at his most vulnerable and he screamed, “Is nothing sacred?!”

It stuck with me ever since, and I think that’s a rule to live by.

This isn't a criminal trial. Depp is suing Heard for defamation and she's counter-suing.

She's trying to prove she wasn't lying about the abuse and so far it doesn't particularly appear to be working. This image in particular is from when Heard took the stand for the first time and appeard to be trying to cry and failing, including suppodely posing for a photo

For sure it's a mess, if any of the allegations are true then it's unforgivable and there's some people way too eager to prove a woman to be a liar and some way too to eager to prove a man is an abuser.

Full disclosure, I've not followed any of the trial other than snapshot headlines, so my context was limited to that

It's a messy situation but I think memes are allowed at this point. It's skirting close to "see all attractive women are liars, that's why I'm still a virgin" territory in some places online.

The current state of the trial is Amber Heard has little to no evidence of any abuse taking place, whereas Johnny Depp has audio and visual evidence of her abusing him.

Probably not get into the amount of evidence that Amber Heard has provided that looks to either be staged or have no relation to Depp
