  • That Cotic is nice? Are they all steel?

  • Both all steel. The green one is my MK2 Escapade, the grey one is a Cascade with the steel fork (they do other fork options).

  • Can I interest anyone in tickets for Fyne Fest 2022? https://fynefest.com

I bought them in 2019 before the pandemic canceled everything and transferred them over for the past two years, but now we cant go.

There are two weekend camping tickets with a car park pass, I got them earlybird and paid £145, if anyone on here is interested before I list them elsewhere you can have them for £100.

  • does anyone with their finger on the pulse of SE brewery taps know the story of london beer factory in west norwood and if they were assimilated into the gipsy hill brewery empire? i never went to the west norwood tap and google gives you the address of the gipsy hill brewery.
or is that just some crafty SEO thing?

  • Cheers for the heads up on this beer - went and got a couple today, yum =]

  • Just read in Brewers Journal that pressure drop are moving to a 4 day week.....
    100% of the productivity,
    80% of the hours,
    100% of the pay.
They are not interested in taking over the world.......

  • Is Kernel's Export Stout Damson supposed to be sour? I'm guess not, given there's no mention of sourness on it but I don't really know much about the fruit. I'm not the only one so perhaps either nature of the fruit or a bad batch?

  • That’s a decision that I rate

  • Hoping to get to the Ivy House Beer Festival tonight, looking like there should be a good selection of cask on which I'm excited for.

  • It definitely has a bitterness/sourness to it, Damsons are quite sour and astringent.

  • First choice of the evening Wiper and True - In The Pines Amber Ale. Fresh cask and delicious. Think there’s at least another 7 cask to try as well so I’m a happy chappy.

  • Forgot a picture of the 360° Bluebell Best Bitter, what a faux pas. It was delicious also. Now the Arbor My Little Sabrony APA. A little creamy for me I think but still nice.

  • Only With Love - Yacht Rock Extra Pale next. I was wrong, I think there’s actually about 16 cask beers on. I’ll not be trying them all and posting here don’t worry

  • Sounded interesting, bought a can.

Quite pleasant, not too sweet, no overwhelming vanilla, reckon it'd be great post barbecue in the blazing sun.

  • Stepped off the beer fest cask as I felt bad making my mate walking through to a different room to order some weird named beer so onto a Brockley Brewery Spring IPA. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to have 6 different cask ales in one night so I’m extremely merry.
