    The study appears to be a benefit to women in potentially life threatening situations.

  • The point is of the findings showing sexism around safety testing, not the study.

    The study led to speculation that women have worse outcomes in car accidents due to the car industry being institutionally sexist by not performing crash tests with "female" dummies.
