    Interesting read though and yeah I am surprised there isn't a (careful now) lumpier, wider dummy too. They have kids and babies after all.... wait a minute!

  • I once met a woman doing her PhD on car safety (it was certainly a lot smarter sounding than I make it seem) driving a shuttle bus for a car hire place in New Orleans. I forgot almost everything she told me other than the pearl of wisdom that it was better to die from a serious head injury than having your internal organs turned to mush so never, ever wear one of those lap strap seatbelts that go only over the stomach. This applied double for women for whom even a slow speed accident where there’s no danger of hitting the windscreen but reproductive organs could be damaged. Of course a 15 minute chat on a bus doesn’t pass the peer review so who knows. I remembered it tho.
