Neither, it doesn't fit the context of the point I made.
David Attenborough uses Female a lot when describing animals ont telly.
He does not describe his daughter, wife, or sisters as 'The females'I do wonder why the choice was made for Females and not Women though, gravitas?
Maybe that does fit my point.

"Females" has become a thing around incels, them using it and others not liking their use of it. I think you're just spending too much time online or online in the wrong places.

I agree it's neither. I was disagreeing with your opinion on how 'females' is used and your judgement on people who do (mostly/always/especially).

As an example, Selasi Setufe was recently awarded an MBE for services to diversity in architecture, in large part for founding the network Black Females in Architecture. Is that a sexist or uninformed use?
