Neither, it doesn't fit the context of the point I made.
David Attenborough uses Female a lot when describing animals ont telly.
He does not describe his daughter, wife, or sisters as 'The females'I do wonder why the choice was made for Females and not Women though, gravitas?
Maybe that does fit my point.
As an example, Selasi Setufe was recently awarded an MBE for services to diversity in architecture, in large part for founding the network Black Females in Architecture. Is that a sexist or uninformed use?
