At the risk of repeating myself this thread is 9 years old and 15 pages long.... wtf?
Love Rourkes. Great fucking frames.

Looks lovely! Blue headset is a nice touch to match the blue in the tricolour bands. 👍👍👍👍

Hi, yesterday I got my first Brian Rourke frame. Frame-Number is 1306. Specially is, that it has a braze for only one down tube shifter on the drive side. I'm sorry for the bad picture. Better pictures follow the next days. Its made of Reynolds 531 professional.

Nice :) single braze on downtube shifter is for TT use, vertical dropouts typical for TT too.

Almost finished this one now. Bars to wrap and that's it. May hunt down a black rear mech and calipers to suit the rest of the components 😍

Very very nice. Please let me know if you ever sell the frame? Looks like it’s a 62cm?
-

Ah, that’s me been shamed into wrapping the bars, fitting the metal badge and actually riding the thing….
Oh and noted, no current plans to sell but my plans tend to change fairly regularly and quickly when some other bike appears on my horizon.

Been out and about with my Rourke. Really enjoying the versatility of this bike. Even use it for racing, popping on some slicks now and then! It's the only bike in my collection besides my everyday ride. Been tweaking it since i got a hold of it nearly 3 years ago but i find myself using it in a pretty standard 1x setup and with 32-35mm tyres. It's got space for 45mm i believe, but haven't found the use for that yet. Guess i can spend loads more years just experimenting with this frame.

Not sure how I missed this…..
Anymore photos?
I’ve been looking at these two for 10 minutes now.

I'll try to take some more photos this summer. I often forget to.. When out biking, there isn't much time for documenting :)
I have some bonus pics of a banana that's out of focus and a non driveside pic from an epic winter ride

Guess that helps separate good bikes from great bikes, the ability to share a photo with an out of focus bruised banana and still shine?

Did you get this off the forum?
It looks familiar and if it is, I still regret not buying that Rourke at the time.
I'd be keen if you wanted to sell :) -

great to see its being properly used!

And I’ll get it from you when you sell?
-
• #371
Haha, you can prise it from my cold dead hands!
-
• #372
So yeah.. I bought it off @fredtc a while ago on this forum and had it shipped to Denmark.. :) I really can't emphasize enough how much i love the frame. It did the job of outclassing all my other bikes, and i even sold my plastic bike last year. So now i've only got steel in my shed. I'm also the type who likes to thrash around quite a bit on my bikes, so it's perfect
Though... I dont want to sell it folks! Haha
