It has few scars, but apparently never been polished. Serviced a couple of years ago, so as far as I know it's ready to enjoy. That case is just so nice...

Very nice! But in my experience buying a KS to satiate a GS urge will have the opposite effect, a bit like buying a Lord Marvel to scratch a KS itch (which is exactly what I did too). Bit boring but a nice black calf leather strap would be my choice.
Edit: Or the black ostrich from Rios1931 would look great, idea stolen from @Regal -

Watch arrived today but we weren’t able to go in and pick it up. Perhaps over the weekend, if not will be mid-week sometime

Ordered a simple black one along with a brown lizard. Should work a treat.
I see your point with that KS/GS situation, but somehow I don't feel that way. The BB58 scratches my Tudor Sub/Snowflake itch just as well :-)

On the Habring² chat. I always used to want a jumping seconds pilot like this.
But it is a very chunky boy...
Also some how missed this collab from the time, which is probably more my thing now. Nice little increase on a $5k watch.

is there a strap like a Eulit perlon but thicker? either 1 or 2 piece.
i don’t like leather in the summer as it gets a bit sweaty but the Eulit is quite thin and the clasp a bit dainty.
not interested in a nato and all the hardware that comes with it.edit: looks like Eulit now do a thicker version called ‘Atlantic’

Looks similar to the double yarn perlon from Watch Obsession: https://www.watchobsession.co.uk/products/perlon-double-yarn-braided-one-piece-watch-strap-buckle-in-black?variant=39334009962567

Holiday watch.. why?
Because I always go into the poorer places in Colombia, US and the Caribbean.. losing $100 watch i can live with.
After reading about Amir Khan being robbed at gunpoint few weeks ago a couple of miles from my home. I guess it’s a choice of what to wear and where you go.

Hey, that’s my watch…

Definitely been an increase in muggings/theft of watches recently.
Have some travel on the cards this year (both business and leisure) and been contemplating what to take - as much as I wish I had a nice GMT to wear it’s probably going to end up being a G-Shock with a world time function and anything valuable staying at home.

is that a little bottle of Buckie on the seat?

i reckon the reason Invicta is a popular brand for holiday makers.. the cruise ship promo comes to mind, especially day trips in the Caribbean. also downtown Miami or Cartagena Bocagrande.
anyway a spot of diving is on the cards.. the tugboat watch recently serviced will get a dunk, the turtles and sharks can have a look at it..

I have an Invicta that is used as a beater when wanting an alternative to GShock, it has a NH35 movement in and sapphire crystal for less than £60 and have had people ask me if its a Rolex lol, it does cheap auto well enough
Not very at all really
