I’d probs prefer to just swap the chainring I think, as looking to minimise cost. Would an extra sprocket fit without any modifications? And presume I’d need a new chain?
-
• #11332
Drop the chainring, lose 2 links, same
Chain. You can fit an extra sprocket if you use a narrower circlip, still need the shifter to work for 3 etc

Long time reader, first time owner: collected my first Brompton yesterday.
Fully stock because this needs to be a workhorse that I'm not overly precious about. What brilliant fun they are to ride. I grinned all the way to Victoria and all the way home. Why didn't I pull the trigger sooner!?
And, exactly per this thread have somehow amassed a mental shopping list from wider bars, better EZ wheels, front bag, saddle changes and different tyres... I'll have to start this thread from the beginning again and take better notes. And sign up to SJS loyalty scheme...

Had mine about a month. Totally agree - love it. Have swapped out the saddle - got some 3d printed doodads that stop the clamps from spinning . This week got a sweaty back one time so fired the money gun at the restrap city loader bag - which is so far completely excellent. Easy wheel upgrade is next for sure.

Cheers - but Eew. I’ll save for kouosac or accept the perfectly fine stock ones 😂

Maybe just forward me your shopping list each time you take delivery!
Let’s start with the 3D printed anti clamp spinners - home printed or purchased?

I’m about to list a Brompton for my neighbour - it’s a 2013 M6L in orange, any advice on a fair price on here would be welcomed!

So the superlight saddle that comes on the P Line weighs in at 277g where as the Fizik saddle that was coming on Bromptons for a while weighs in at 234g.

It's lighter compared to a standard Brompton saddle ;)
About £200?
