You’re literally on 39-28t, which is a dang sight impressive (or 34-28 if it’s a 36t cassette and 42t chainring).
Good eye - 42t chainring with a 11-36 cassette.
I only rode fixed/ss for many years so these gears feel pretty wide to me on the road - even with the added weight. Off road is a different story.
