this looks ace!
@Belagerent i was refering to on the move, we all know you object to any interaction with a bike on the move however, "why cant you just stop" etc etc
-
• #2203
Stopping is one of the very best bits about riding a bike though
-
• #2204
it is, i agree, but sometimes you just want to get home to sit in front of the telly and eat crisps

Nice day on the bike - new wheels feel v cool.
The loud click and and skinny rubber, feels good.

thank you guys,
i am on the lookout for something like the cetma rack for the pacer, noone makes anything like it - i like the fact it looks like farm machinery and girders. it would really help my fakenger look.
i have trawled the many depths of google, i have annoyed many people with this question of where can i get something like it.
connects to handlebars
square unfinished design
britalist principles
connects to drop outs
the next recc is getting a wald but damn....i really want the rackif anyone has a 3rail - or maybe can make something v similar to it - would happily pay the rrp of a cetma - about £120

currently in a rumination hamster wheel of buying a dolan vs a steam roller
have ridden a friends steam roller multiple times, it's enjoyable and good - but does feel an awfully lot like my pacer (not a bad thing tbqh) and less "track bike" compared to say my old langster.
but when i think of a precursa i get awful worms of say "mmm yes but what happens when i want more tyre clearance or move out the city? i will inevitably like the steam roller more?"
as we know one should buy a bike for their lifestyle now, not one they've created for themselves in their vitimin d starved brain.
guiltily the biggest driver of this all is this years steam roller is yellow, and i don't like it, but grumble at the idea of paying another £100 to have sandblasted and either clear coated or powedercoated blue/red
i also don't like the black precursa, but i could just get that sandblasted and left raw - feel less bad about that because it's £200 less

you should buy a brompton, diversify your portfolio

I thought you rode the langster again briefly and immediately hated it
-
• #2220
or just buy the ESB off me, I will do GOOD discount for you
-
• #2221
i did, this is true - but i still liked it im also willing to chalk a lot of the hate up to the fact it has the stack of a 54 ~ frame and when i was riding it i was coming out of 3 months of bed rest - anything would have felt like death
pre cursa has a higher stack than my pacer by standard and that bike fits excellently now i'm back in shape.
@amey this is a tempting offer tbqh - but when can i test ride it, a busy person like yourself, will i ever get coffee with you??!?! my dream?!?!!?

I ride my Steamroller with bigger tires in the city, for comfort, and I love it. Even though I like the new yellow I was specifically looking for a used Steamroller to be less precious about.

Definitely buy @a**y's ESB, so he has room to store his new enduro rig

i considered this one but the stripped bb thread SCARES me
Unable to open my basket bag on the go because I have a net over it, I claim that being able to put things I would put in the bag...under the net...is actually a feature.
