In theory lower rolling resistance than the equivalent tubs, a bit easier to swap about, more resistant to punctures (or at least small ones seal) and there is the possibility of chucking in a tube if it all goes wrong. Cheaper too.
Tubs are lighter, more secure if they do puncture and the rims are much stronger.
Veloflex Corsa Evo TLR went up on Lightbicycle rims with a track pump and no tyre levers. Stans sealant and they have still feel solid after 36hrs. I'll update on ride and durability but they are a cotton race tyee so should feel amazing.
