  • i don’t care how innovative those Horage watches are because they look like they are £300 at Argos.
for that money and something non mainstream that actually looks like a decent watch then Habring would get my money.

  • What was the Apple iWatch homage with a high end Swiss movement?

(I know I could just Gurgle it, but rather stoke discussion)

  • What you really want is an Apple Watch inside a high end Swiss case

  • That can sod right off! So many people buy and even collect Invicta thinking they are getting quality timepieces- a marketing miracle!

Have to admire the chutzpah though..

look like they are having way more fun than buttering up ADs and joining waiting lists tbf

  • Yeah, I think using some IRL photos rather than the over-shiny renders on their website would probably do them some favours.

German language but video footage also gives a better impression:

  • Man I hate that ultra shiney bezel. The indices and hands remind me of Royal Oak, similar thick borders.

  • Hmm, dunno if I agree. Habring stuff has a deliberate lack of finishing that I'm not sure I'm into, plus their GMT design is a little weird - no date for a start. Respect the guy as a movement designer though, for sure.

Apart from the date wheel font I don't mind the design of the Horage. It has some quirks but that's fine, I think it's obviously intended to appeal to people who don't want to buy one of the usual suspects, and it's not a straight RO / Nautilus / Sub / GMT-Master imitation.

  • Don't think the indices and hands look much like a RO at all… Looks more like a Vacheron Overseas if anything.

  • Vacheron Overseas

Yeah I can see that. I think it's the white fill with fat silver borders. Not saying they're a copy just what came to mind when I first saw it.

  • Speaking of GMTs, I'm still slightly obsessed with this. It's nearly 14mm thick, it must be too big for my dinky wrist, right? Why did I like it so much when I tried it on?

  • This is starting to look like some of the deVille chronos (which I prefer)

  • New stock opening order is arriving .

  • Clifton Baumatic is a nice watch, good luck with the opening!

  • Cheers matey .

  • Good luck with the launch!

  • Is the lug to lug short enough to compensate for the thickness?

  • Damn those Horage's do be ugly IRL. Awful brand name and awful logo too IMO.

  • Maybe. Lug to lug is 48mm I think. Not that small. Seemed to sit well overall. I suppose in terms of diameter and thickness, it's not that different to either a Speedmaster or my SLA017. Seen as a tool-ish kind of watch I guess it's fine. Or maybe it's that the overall shape just sits well.

Dunno. Only got a look at it for a minute or two. Will be straight back to check it out when they start arriving in the boutiques. Although the price means I'd have to sell a bunch of stuff to afford it, so I'd need to REALLY like it.

  • Saw this and quite enjoy it, bit big at 40mm.

  • Weird. You least blurry, best lit photo is of a watch covered in plastic that makes it look blurry and badly lit.

    Very you.

Good luck with the opening! I love my B&M GMT. I should wear that tomorrow.
