Interestingly, I cut my finger open whilst removing a cassette (basically punched a cassette with a fair amount of force) to the point where you could see the ligament moving when i flexed my hand.
The nurse in A&E superglued it together and then placed butterfly stitches above it. Amazing stuff really...!
following a chat whilst out cycling with a mate, who suffered a deep knife cut to his hand from modelmaking a few weeks ago. he used superglue to hold his wound together before heading to A&E. the nurse told him that he did the right thing.. which led me to find this on the interwebz
