Kids' bikes and scooters for charity

The boy's primary school are going to do a clear out of all the bikes and scooters which have been long-term abandoned in the bike shelters, and have asked if there are any suggestions for what to do with them. Any suggestions for a charity which might have a use for them? SE16-based.

My sister is a teaching assistant in SE15. I've asked if she knows of any charities, otherwise she may use them at her school.

Would the borough cycling group be worth contacting?
