Wouldn’t the viscoset work better in the front headtube? Stop the wobble ‘at the source’ rather than try and deal with it once it’s already established?
Or am I missing something that means that’s not possible?
It would definitely be the better location, but omnom forks are threaded. Even on the rear steerer it should have an effect though.

If it's a standard 1" you could try an ird roller bearing headset. It stiffened up my steering a bit on my low trail regular bike.
