Beautiful 140k ride today to break in the bike. Very happy with how it performed.
If I were to sum up the ride experience in one word, it would be 'smooth'. Even with the 42c tyres at relatively high pressures, it seems so iron out a surprising amount of road buzz.
Only thing I don't like about it is that I can make it shimmy a bit on the straight. But if I keep my hands on the bars, I think I can live with that.

Needle bearing headsets or keeping a knee on the top tube when no handed are the usual suggestions to counter shimmy.

Kidding aside, thanks for the tip. Might look into that in the future if it keeps bothering me. It only shimmies when I wiggle the handlebars, so not a huge deal.
