I for this one as I intent to Cobble on the 10th April.
Can I assume everyone understands there is a distinct possibility of me doing neather?

Is that because this clashes with the Joe Wicks thing at the O2?

What depraved shit have you been googling to know stuff like that?
-
• #5
You mean you’ve not been following my food and fitness YouTube channel where I discuss pre-ride nutrition and post ride hydration techniques?
-

If McDonalds served beer you'd be able to cut out the ride bit of your food and fitness regime.

Won't actually commit to this one as it's out wedding anniversary but it's on my doorstep so seems silly not to join in. Maybe I can talk mrs conkr into an anniversary tandem spin?

For avoidance of doubt this ride is still on. See you on Sunday for a gentle wobble around the local area.
Next week looks like it's going to be a scorcher (at least for May).

Sorry folks, as much as I want to come along I need to listen to my bad knee that's telling me a bike ride wouldn't be wise at the moment. Hopefully this ride is the first of many and I'll be able to join you on another one.

I'm hoping to turn up for this.

I'm definitely coming. I might not be there for 10.30 but will be before 11. Don't go without me!

Weather looks good. Have a great day & say hi to Richard at the Little Green Dragon (who's another cargo-bike guy, & past member of my cycling club Southgate CC)

have squirted some WD40 onto my chain (actually mostly went onto my t shirt due to nozzle technology issue) in a cursory nod toward bike prep.
will head out to Winchmore Hill in the next 15 mins or so, should be there before 11:00.

Doing fine now, managed London to Cambridge last week and even Mrs H is pretty much recovered too (she was about a week behind me)

Ok we're seeing off. If you're running late, see you at Forty Hall. DM me for a phone number (or see phone numbers thread)

Well that was a relaxing amble
Hope you had a good time @ChasnotRobert and @brokenbettySome pictures of the speed skating meet we stumbled upon, Food Gatherers market at Forty Hall and Myddleton House gardens.
It's always sunny in Enfield

Many thanks @rhowe for organising this, possibly the perfect blend of food, looking at interesting plants, beer and of course some cycling. Very much enjoyed.
Nice to meet you @brokenbetty
Will work on a possible tour of walthamstow and environs.
Join me for what is hopefully the first in a new ride series "Tour de Hood". A lazy Sunday 16 mile social meander showcasing the best bits of Enfield.
Start with a coffee near Winchmore Hill station, see some posh houses, lots of parks, farmer's market for lunch, stop off to explore a couple of gardens followed by a bit of woodland trail, all ending at the Little Green Dragon micropub.
Aiming to be rolling by 11am.
Bring a lock - we'll be stopping at Myddleton House gardens for a wander around.
Surface is suitable for any bike, although it's not all tarmac.
If it's raining I'll reschedule for the next time the farmers market is on in May.
