  • My Breitling Aerospace is. Think they do it to most if not all watches. Maybe. I believe that’s why there’s a blue hue to most breitling dials.

  • Anywhere near Carlisle? Peter Jackson are closing down and selling stuff with a discount. Dentist colleague bought two Tag watches last week at 20% plus discount.

  • Unfortunately not. Norn Iron.

  • Death of the high street

  • Cool article.

You can see the blue tint that dual AR tends to have in this photo kind of. Bad photo but it’s visible.

  • Time for a glass of Bourbon.

Spread the final Dad ashes today at the tree.

It was a good time and jokes about if he'd of approved. He's also in Ludlow and Brizzle.

He loved fine mechanics and I've got his Tudor watch and Hasselblad camera.

  • Tudor watch doesn't fit my wrist and spare links for a 1960's version are Hens Teeth...

Also the camera uses 120 film stock 😆

  • Tudor and Bourbon here too

Lol, that's another planet from me

  • Solid value prop from Horage with their upcoming GMT (diver-GMT?).

    https://www.horage.com/supersede

39.9 x 9.5mm, micro-rotor, COSC, silicon hairspring (and the anchor and escape wheel are also silicon, wtf), 72h power reserve, aiming for 200m water resistance…

    cc @Dammit

  • Just few Longines I’ve been looking at recently

    All sold by Phillips

  • This is cracking. If these guys can manage under 10mm diver for less than 4£k why can’t some of the bigger boys?

  • Also those Longines chronos are lovely

  • The microrotor movement makes it much slimmer.

Horage are a real challenger brand. They're going pretty hard on the pricing and overall value prop. Would really like to see some of their watches IRL.

  • anyone tried a BB pro yet? cant seem to find any around london

  • Glad to hear it was a good day:)

  • The last option here is great. I like the sub second version with the cream dial they currently offer but just wish their lugs were shorter. Too much gap between the strap. Also the black heritage model with the sub and crosshair dial looks quite nice, put a black strap on that and I think it would be a solid all-rounder.

  • Give Goldsmiths a call. My local branch is expecting them in 2-3 weeks so I'd expect larger London stores to be getting them then or sooner. I'm going to get one of the pros sliding micro adjust clasps when they eventually become available as spares.
EDIT: Google says Pragnells are expecting some too

  • The Longines Zulu in blue does look decent too, caught a glimpse of it in Cardiff the other week and the details and finish looked good. Didn't have time to try on though.

  • Solid value

    4.900 CHF
