  • Ejay2.0 taught you well ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • I'm very happy with the results. Thank you :)

  • Is your visor steamed up? ๐Ÿ˜

  • It has been very humid this evening. Very dirty air in London today.

  • Dull and wet here - as mentioned in a previous post. Not biking weather or close to it.
Maybe give your camera lenses a wipe? Or is is a new way of photographing watches? Iโ€™m too old for new things!๐Ÿ˜

  • I gave it a quick wipe and it's cleared it right up

  • Love how the details pop on that one.

  • I need to clean my gleeks! Or visit the optician very soon ๐Ÿ˜

  • I have the Peli case from casefarm.. itโ€™s burly as you can imagine but the reality is Iโ€™m not transporting 6 watches anywhere so overkill.. the clasps take significant force to close with the outcome being I leave the case open most of the time (and risk the whole thing getting knocked over by rampaging kids) .. therefore itโ€™s neither really protecting my watches nor displaying them.

  • I honestly think that thinness is something that generates a lot of noise in the comments sections but probably doesn't affect overall sales all that much.

Seems weird to me... If I wear an ordinary watch I'm often annoyed by it interacting with my sleeve; I'd've thought that would be a common experience that would have a lot of folks looking for stuff on the thinner side, but apparently not... Although for what it's worth, this regularly gets compliments when I wear it. (6.5mm, and the non-chrono Skin is 4mm!)

  • You'd think that would be the case, but Tudor sell plenty of Black Bays and Breitling have had their best year in ages. It matters to a lot of people, but by no means all.

  • And the 36 Datejust, and the 36 Day-Dateโ€ฆ

  • I have a Squale that is double AR coated. I like it. There are some very minor marks in the coating but I don't care because it's a tool watch and gets treated as such. Also, it's a flat crystal so it's a lot less exposed than a box sapphire would be.

  • Friend of a friend is looking for a Tag. Has anyone suggestions for the best place to purchase one?

  • I suppose the main thing would be to try and find an AD that will give you a discount. I.e., not a Tag boutique or a Watches of Switzerland. Maybe Mappin & Webb or Goldsmiths.

The new(ish) 40mm Aquaracer Professional is a decent looking watch.

  • Yeah best to just find a sale at a highstreet chain like Goldsmiths.

  • They're a bit too shiny IMO. But yes in principle they're obviously largely unchanged.

  • Thanks for the info. I will pass it on.

just get your shirtmaker to make the cuff 1 cm bigger

  • Don't wear a shirt

  • Jura Watches do tag. Theyโ€™re usually happy to offer a min of 10% just for asking.

  • How did it come to have the extra coat? Do any manufacturers offer it?

  • So many people dressing down these days...doing up your cuffs is on the decline. Cufflinks an endangered species.

  • Itโ€™s standard (or was) on the 50 Atmos / 1521. You do see some manufacturers do it.

  • Thanks for that.
