haha, get ready for free reign for developers and barriers on the cycle paths.

barriers on the cycle paths.
There'd need to be any first
-
• #72604
that's why they can reduce council tax straight away I guess.
-
• #72605
.

• #72606
I'm not convinced it's going to be a good thing either. Easier to blame failure on (underfunded) labour councils. And if Boris gets kicked out it'll probably improve their chances next GE.

Pleased to see Marble Arch mound being mentioned in despatches by the Westminster Labour leader. Such a staggeringly incompetent act of hubris.

Listening to LBC and someone made the point that the win in Barnet (an area with a lot of Jewish voters) was significant and a positive move forward for Starmer.

Starmer to be investigated over alleged Covid breach "after significant new information" (and a massive push from the Home Secretary also).
-
• #72610
I was a little sad that didn’t work out it would have been a nice spot of green space

Take this with a pinch of salt until it has been confirmed.
I sense shenanigans.
-
• #72612
I agree. Being investigated means very little. It's the result of the investigation that matters. And you can guarantee that the results of this won't be buried, like the Sue Gray report.
-
• #72613
Aha. I see that the Police have now confirmed it.
Should be interesting.
-
• #72614
So far I have seen two or three lawyers, one of whom was actually involved in writing the covid lockdown legislation, explain exactly why Beergate was not illegal, but who knows...maybe there is new information.
-
• #72615
Police have now confirmed it
Yup. That's what I meant, sorry.
-
• #72616

Lefty, woke ones obvs...
(sarcasm, before someone takes that seriously)
-
• #72617

No sorry required. For a good few minutes it was just the Telegraph saying "we understand that the police are going to investigate". I missed that the police confirmed it.

Huntingdonshire: Conservative -> No-overall-control
is as good as can be hoped here. Independents, Lib Dems and Greens all taking seats from the Tories.
-
• #72619
maybe there is new information.
Perhaps Starmers wife and there interior decorator turned up for the curry too.
That's the reason Johnston got fined nothing to do with cake or just 9 minutes etc.
its fucking scary that Lulu Lytle was able to just wonder around the cabinet office.
-
• #72620
Or perhaps an invitation was sent round saying let off some steam and BYOB.
-
• #72621
Or maybe it turns out it wasn't a campaign event at all and was actually Starmers secret flat and he was having a knees up at home to celebrate one of his aides resigning.
Still though, if Starmer is found to have broken the law it's essential that he resigns on the spot. That's what we should expect from any MP.

Glad they didn't crop the flags she's holding - would never have guessed her allegiance otherwise, etc and so on.

He'll have to, after calling for resignations on the same. That shit is gonna stick forever otherwise.
I'm in Putney also. Labour planning to reduce council tax apparently... Not sure what their plan is in that regard
