There being about 4 mins football in the 25 mins after Real went ahead didn't help though.
For sure City gave it away, but it's a massive problem in the game that teams are incentivised to just flounce away 80% of playing time when it suits them.

Time added on has always been subjective and the guidance/rules (30s per goal, 30s per substitute) has never been strictly applied.
