Bit of a long ride home.

You can get away with murder up in they places, they dont really care about where your riding.

That's priced rather well, especially with the vortex ecu. Shame it's in Mordor.

Just consider the books people will write and eventually make into a film series that takes longer to watch than the journey.

make myself a tail pack
Idk if it would work for you but the kriega have lots of good stuff. Maybe check them out. Mine is >10yo now.
-
• #20909
Seconded. Kriega is amazing gear.
-
• #20910
Yea but nah. I’m not buying something I can make myself. I have a couple tail packs I already made, just need to affix to the pillion seat. Just being lazy.

Is this a repeat of the chat a page ago or can I see into the future?
It sounds like you haven’t finished making them - the Kriega stuff has straps you fix to the bike (fairly unobtrusively), then straps that clip to the bag and hook onto the bike straps. Steal the idea if you’ve got the skills!
The other thing they do is a tank bag base harness, which you could use with your own stuff.

Yea I got deja vu as well, so just repeated myself in case it was a glitch in the Matrix.

Ugh. Forgot to disconnect.

Sorry I missed that bit.
I'd definitely look at the straps and hardware as the design and functionality is excellent.
I'd probably go with these style

Motobatt and their dumb terminals.

• #20917
Fucking annoying. Not even 4 months on standby. Left my yuasa for nearly a year. Started on the button. This..fuck all. 7volts.
Where does one get intact?
-
• #20918
Though motobat had a long warranty?
-
• #20919
Bought mine through the mechanics. They got sick of fault returns on Motobatt and so far only one single Intact return apparently.
I see Demon Tweeks sell them, among other online retailers.

Motobatt were like for like swap, and eventually stop swapping.

Having a similar problem with the Shorai I bought for the Duc. Tested and retested, no parasitic loads, charges at their specified rate and goes flat if you leave it for a month. Just had to resuscitate it as it was so flat the charger wouldn't even recognise it. The other one I have in the GSXR is 7+ years old and still works perfectly. Annoying.

Story of my fucking life so far. Piece of shit on the SV Works forever. On the CBR same thing, splurged on the tiger and it’s done nothing but be a pain.
Just resuscitating the mototbatt now. Did the jump charge thang -

Exactly a '79 R80/7, but with loads of tweaks. Rebuild was completed while I was still planning to emigrate to New Mexico (deeper sump, higher top gear, 1000cc etc), but I don't regret any of it. She's a keeper for sure.

Anyone know best way to fix split fuel line on moped so I can at least ride it to shop..... Cut pipe above tear, plug cut end with tape whilst I remove the broken bit of pipe from bike, and then re fit the line to the bike?
-
• #20925
Yea. Stanley/swiss army knife cut the split part off then refit and hope long enough.
Anyone jealous of our resident CRF450 owner…
