Spicy end to the season. Title, top 4 and relegation all good battles.

Torn now because I want to see Lampard fail but I’d LOVE to see Leeds go down.

It's a tough one but Leeds going down does edge it. I reckon if they go down there's a decent chance they stay down.

How do Chelsea lose to that rabble? I'm sure they'll turn up for the cup final though

Dreadful and fell to Everton’s level.
Steady on.

Haha. Huge win for us today. Tavares drives me mad.

ooof that first half was a nightmare vision of the pre klopp era, when we couldn't string two passes together, horrible to watch
villareal couldn't keep up that first half tempo they ran mercilessly for 45mins, they came out slower and chased less after the break and their keeper had a shocker too, nutmegged twice, which helpedstat attack ! it's is not possible for liverpool to play more games this season, a full house of fixtures, with the third final now confirmed

Playoffs it is. Whatever happens it's been an amazing season, the turnaround since Steve Cooper took over has been unbelievable.

That first half was properly grim there, the £290 quid put down pre-emptively yesterday for flights & accommodation was beginning to feel like a very very stupid move...........
Diaz is a bit special!

Abramovich now wants his loan back as well. Who could have predicted it?
-
• #161063
Which is awkward because it can't be repaid due to sanctions. A bit of an issue for Chelsea.

was surprisingly calm before yesterdays match, a champions league semi final has never been an easy watch in the past, but last night it just felt like another regular game, no nerves no anxiety no real sense of occasion ( well until villarreal ran us ragged in that first half when i got a bit sweaty palmed )
amazing how far klopp has brought this team
i thought it was villarreal changing tactics at half time that swung the game rather than maybe diaz coming on and being ace ( which he is ), they just weren't the same team in the 2nd half their adrenalin must have worn off during the break, and we got back to our usual playing style.
if we are pressed like we press other teams we can fall apart a bit, city did it to us twice in the league this year and we didn't handle it very well, an achilles heel appears for teams to target, you would have thought in training we would get used to being pressed cause that's how we play and must practice the same.
roll on the 28th of may and real madrid ( come on madrid )

couple of howlers from their keeper helped. though tie was over before the Mane goal.

If Abramovich insists on the loan being repaid and Chelsea aren't under new ownership by the end of the month, their licence lapses and they will be banned from the PL and CL next year. Stay firm, Roman.

Last week Thursday travelling back from town, GF and I got caught up with a lot of somewhat subdued West Ham fans at Stratford. What I did find abit odd was one old aged pensioner wearing his claret and blue scarf with smartly embroidered ICF and old british railway logo around the crossed hammers. Now call me old fashioned but that’s a bit inappropriate these days, right? Unless of course he was celebrating his freedom pass

Will he panenka this one? Probably not.

Scenes! In a way it’s for the best if City don’t make the final. You just cannot trust Pep to beat the shite.
