An artful advertising, though I think you are a) wrong, as there are many better looking bikes out there and b) way off your pricing, slash by 50% and take some off. This is, no offence intended, a gas pipe tubing at its best with parts -aside brakes and mudguards - that normally live in someone's spare box at the back of the shed. I believe you were told the same before when advertising your ware?

Hey there, don't suppose you've still got this??
Selling my beloved trusty Peugeot vintage road bike form 1987.
I've had this bike for over 7 years now but recently bought a gravel bike to go on longer weekend trips as well as commuting and sadly don't have time to use both.
Specs:
Frame size 54cm (just over 21inches) this is equivalent to Medium frames
Steel Frame Reynolds 501 cromalloy - m 3 tubes reinforces Made in France ** some rust, scratches and signs of wear (please study the photos)
Carboline 103 Fork
New square taper bottom bracket fitted about a year ago
New brake callipers Tektro R359 front and rear
Double brake levers Weinmann (drop and flat)
Ambrosio 700c clincher wheel set
1 x 5 gear block ** x5 times better than single speed and no faff with double chain right at the front
Vintage Turbo suede seat ** note the split however the seat shape and comfort is not affected
SKS mudguards (front and rear with a light)
Panarecer Pasela tyres 700 x 23 front and rear
Steel front pizza rack
Shimano 105 SPD PD - 5700 pedals
Water bottle holder
Everything works very well and in fantastic condition, unlike most other vintage bikes that haven't had the parts updated.
The only thing that might need changing is the handlebar tape. My personal preference is for cotton tapes (and they wear out quite quickly). I decided not to change the tape since the new owner might prefer a different kind.
The bike is over 30 years old, so don't expect it to be brand new and scratch/rust free. It is probably the best bike for its age out there since it's been very loved and I have taken a very good maintenance and care of it.
Collection only from London N17. I can potentially cycle it over to you and deliver (Hackney, Walthamstow?) I travel quite a bit to the south coast Eastbourne/ Hastings way — can deliver.
£300 ONO
Any questions - ask.
