Just need spacers for 73 instead of 68? Or something more exotic?

Pretty sure I just need a longer spindle. It’s been years since I’ve done anything with a square taper bottom bracket though

Ah whoops, didn't notice the square taper format. Lots of options then.

Finally getting around to finishing this. It was on hold for a while whilst I sorted stuff. Picked up a few more bits to sit on.

Also, picked up some hope wheels for it and a couple more xtr bits, Going to get it sorted in the next week or two I hope.

Serious progress for a wanker build, frame came out very nice with the painted stem and forks! Did you sort the bottom bracket issue?

Yeah, I just bought a longer square taper, all good.

Really need some shiny anodised disc callipers for it. I think for the time being, I’ll use the slx ones I have in the parts bin. It’s not full wanker but it’ll have to do for now

Irritatingly my brake hoses are now too short because of my ridiculous swept back bars so I need to bleed and replace them, I'll post a photo as soon as I've done that.

Finally. (pretty much) finished.

At some point and when budget allows, I'll upgrade the brakes to some full wankers but until then the SLX ones will do.

And of course, in fitting the child seat, I sheared the star nut.

All fixed now and had a quick shakedown ride. Co pilot seems to approve.
