• Update: Still self incarcerated in the suburb of Kaufungen. There is progress, stairs and walking around aren't causing the same discomfort.

    Been rolling quads, hammys, IT, calves, arse like a demon and using hemp oil/arnica gel to massage the patellar tendon 3 times a day. Stretching hammys and I'm able to stretch quads with full knee bend with very little discomfort. Yet to try pedalling, will attempt nearer the end of the week unloaded. Also taken to wearing a compression sleeve while sat about, I like it but walking with it has opposite effect.

    Next Monday I leave here under my own steam and we see what happens. It's the growing positivity that kills me, I was down and out on Saturday and now I'm thinking there is a chance.
