Have you tried the kriega range? US 10 to US 40.

Nah. I wouldn’t buy what I can make myself. Just need to dust off the machines.

Ah. Fair enough. My solution is really for light stuff - wet gear, food and a flask etc. I would not chance heavier stuff at all.

Re. The tail pack solution. What about a bagger! 😁😁😁
I came across Bagger Racing yesterday on tv - obviously from the USA. Who knew such a thing existed? -

And Jeremy McWilliams is in this race series too. Might be worth a watch on YouTube.

Need to put some new tyres on a bike.
Got conti twists the now and they are fine in the dry but a bit shite in the wet.
Been suggested Michelin Boppers, city Grips or reggaes. Pirelli SL26 were suggested too but they seem impossible to get now

What bike? Michelin. Anything Michelin. Modern Michelin is incredible in the wet. Borderline full on front brake pull in the wet.

Handy that you have options. 😁
Great pic and the road looks amazing. -

Latigo canyon in Malibu. Used to be nicer, it was a bit bumpy and dusty today. Got kicked out of the seat once. Lovely day though.

Get in line sunshine
@konastab01 oooh, show and tell please.
@Jung what rubber you running these days? Really unhappy with Dunlop’s. There’s zero feel when they lose grip.

Think you'll find I'm in line, just in front of you

I have a few of them and over the years had about 7 or 8
This is my green one, I’ve just bought a black one(which has been painted as the guy didn’t like the colour apparently) and I have one that’s got 180 miles on it that is like my collectors one.
The red one in the photo got wrote off and I got buttons for it.
They are slow as fuck, but I just love them

The other day I got very excited by that thing about making bike parts from acrylic nail stuff. And I've just found out you can make sort of concrete from noodles https://twitter.com/WorldBollard/status/1519309372672913409 I think we should be learning these skills so we can make houses and motorbikes after the apocalypse. Start stockpiling Pot Noodle.

@chak Bridgestone S22s at the moment. They’ve been on it for a couple of years now - grip well, heat up quick, stable, turn pretty good. Not crazy levels of feel, but I don’t think you ever get that with stiffer carcass road rubber.
I’ve not managed to unstick them aside from a couple of kicks in the arse if the road is dusty and I’ve been particularly ham-fisted.

Utterly love em. They all 50cc?
Whwre you get them from? -

For the last three sets of tyres, I’ve just bought whatever sportiest street tyres were cheapest at the time. Bloody difficult to choose between them to be honest. Caveat I only ride when it’s warm and don’t commute but they all were unstickable in the twisties, even pressing on a bit. I probs liked the Michelins least for feel but they were super grippy.

Honestly I’ve bought them from all over.
Red one was London, it was my newest one ‘10 plate but they are all the same.
Green one I got in wales, infact my 180 miles ones was wales too!
The black one I just bought was in the middle lands
@lynx do you think they make a little pillion peg bracket for this one too?
