It’s bad at the mo. Prices are high but more importantly everything seems to be back ordered. I suppose that means demand is high which should be a good thing in the long run.
I have only ever shot black and white until last year, when I suddenly caught the colour bug… bad timing.
Anyway, currently buying Kodak Vision3 250d/500t. As soon as I can decide which I prefer I plan to start buying in bulk. You need to develop yourself though (or a lab that is happy to handle it), cos remjet.
And yeah, no such problems in 120 land… you can even still get pro 400h for reasonable prices.

Yeah the remjet is why I didn’t do that, don’t develop myself.
It’s terrible the now at how bad it’s got tbh, and can’t believe how expensive portra has got!
Apparently the demand isn’t gonna bring the price down and it’s where we are at now.
Found Kodak gold 200 on eBay 3 pack for £37. Which I think is a bump but heyho
Wheres everyone buying there 35mm film the now? There seems to be no Portra 400 around that isn't nearly £90 a box. 4 years ago I was buying a box for £42....
I was gonna try gold but even its all single rolls so Im not sure you can buy a box of that either.
Might have to just start shooting everything on my 120 as I seem to not be able to get rid of that shit.
