I was broadly in the “it would be bad if Everton were relegated” camp, and then they hired Lampard and I went straight into the “it would be hilarious if Everton were relegated” camp

that's a very popular camp right now.

my massive soft spot for everton has definitely hardened since he arrived.

The fact that Everton fans were meant to be close to not turning up if Lampard wasn’t appointed is hilarious. Wonder how Graham (RIP) is taking this ?
