  • It was just announced that Ukraine and Lithuania agreed to export wheat through our port which would be amazing as a much of cargo industry here relied heavily on exports from Russia / Belarus. I hope it works out and is financially viable.

    They also just announced they will be firing 2000 employees from Lithuanian railways as the income dropped 30% because of sanctions for Belarus (which we pushed so hard, lol).

  • Yeh I would expect Russia to hit major rail infrastructure even more in the future to make sending it to other ports less viable

    Seen the pictures a few days ago of lines of trucks heading to Russia full of grain they were stealing

  • This might also disturb the heavy weapons delivery once it ramps up. A lot of it depends on rail transport.
