Interesting. I was just having a look into this.
I read somewhere that it disconnects too easily which can be a problem while mountainbiking. Do you also have that experience?

I bought a Decathlon heart strap and so far it's working well. It was super easy to connect to my Wahoo and does what it needs to do. It also didn't unclick yet👍

The disconnection thing might be because they used to sell the pod on its own and you sourced your own strap. I used them with Polar and cheap ones off eBay and the fit was never perfect and needed a bit of work with a craft knife and/or giving the strap a bit of a stretch
