  • Pedal strike may be solved, looks like my shock pump was giving readings 40psi too low.

  • Is the frameset inspired by the trees? or trees inspired by specialized? Anyway lovely bike:D

  • I was too busy trying to make joke that I forgot to mention I love the look of that paint.

  • I made this Saturday, which leads into the second bridge. I came home last night and the wife was burning the logs that I had cut and split for the end of the second bridge :(

    ROFLcopter.

"Please do not burn" stickynote next time..

  • Oh yeah, and I built a stone pad under this tree so I can turn it into a ladder bridge. Gotta build another one on the opposite side, and then cut the far end loose before I flatten the top and screw down some slats.

  • They were stacked in a wheelbarrow with a sawzall, a drill, and a bucket of screws on top. Fricken hell they were also green so they burned like caca dlo.

  • Built my boy a Lowside, may throw my old Sid on it, but need to find a stem with a 27mm stack height. Also the dropper doesn’t seem to work, will drop but not return.

  • Some rolling forest. There’s a 2 foot drop after those rocks in the middle of the second picture. It’s amazing how much cameras flatten everything out.

  • And I’m actually scared of the drop between these two trees.

  • My guess on the dropper post is that the seatpost clamp needs a little less torque for it to work properly.

  • Apparently there are two versions of this dropper, one that you have to manually lift and one that springs back up. 1 guess as to which one I ended up with.

  • Finally getting to work on that bridge.

  • This is all looking ace. Wish I had somewhere I could do this local without people moaning.

  • Found some pictures of my old SC Chameleon, early 2000s and stolen 10 years ago :(

  • Yesterday was National Trail Day here in the states, so a day late but got some work in today. New trailer was aces at carrying some trail tools, and a bunch of wood (not pictured).

  • Everyone who has ridden this section has had pedal strike on this boulder. I wish I thought to get some pics before I started reshaping it.

  • Never seen thread on building trails. Very interesting stuff!

  • Someone’s gotta build them if you’re gonna ride them!

    And it’s fun.
