Interested in frame if you split
-
• #3
Can do, for how much?
-

I can take the Dynamo stuff off and rebuild it with a Phil wood hub for £900 or you can have everything for £1050.
-
• #5
where are you based
-

Devon.

Anyone would be mad not to buy this with the dynamo and lights at that price. Would make this the absolutely perfect winter bike and commuter. It's the SS version of the Fratello which is an amazing frame. GLWS.

I meant without!

Front Phil hub sold so just back to the original £1000 all in.
@Rastapopoulos It is cheap but you can bling a fixed bike up all you want but it never had a super high value (other that cult bikes). I have my eye on a new toy on eBay so I hope it sells.

I’ll also hand deliver if you pay for my train ticket. I could do with a day out.

Looks proper

My view: the bike to work scheme has skewed things for second hand sales. People favour the convenience of the monthly salary deduction, ignoring the fact that even with the tax efficiency of BtW there’s a significant overall saving to be had when the bike for sale is more or less as new.
The SON is over £200 on its own ffs.
GLWTS. (Or split it before someone else does).

I can’t be arsed to split but may if it’s necessary

Removed from sale. Purchased a thorn 853 fork, some new mudguards so I can fit bigger tyres and see if I can make it work for me. Just some back roads on my commute are a little rough.
-
• #15
And back for sale. £950 plus postage.
-
• #16
Did the Thorn fork not work in the bike?
-
• #17
I cancelled the order. Didn’t want to put more money into it. I have a hallett on order, just waiting.

Point Richard at this thread, give him a bit of hurry-up!

Absolutely, and supports gears too!

Richard has been great every time I ask for an update. I work in the industry and know what it’s been like.
-
• #21
£900 for 24hrs then I’ll strip it to sell.
-
• #22
Seems such a shame to unbuild a bike like that. I wish I could buy it but it sits squarely in the position occupied by my Tom Board
-
• #23
Pics?

If you do decide to split I would def take wheels, the whole drivetrain and the mudguards

I'm interested - I'll pm you.
