  • Picked up this Kinesis Decade for a winter runaround, but it rides so nicely I decided to tweak it a bit now that the weather is improving to get a racier feel.

    Something so enjoyable about a simple road-specific bike without any of the modern complications.

  • the decade is nice ! and good racy setup.
    my experience with this frame is that if you find a full carbon fork, it will feel much better

  • Yeah, for an alu fork I find it's surprisingly great to ride, but for the winter I'd love to get a (carbon) disc fork, just to improve the braking a bit.

    Haven't been able to find any thing that is straight steerer, has mudguard mounts and is road specific (ie ~370mm a-c) though.
